The Three Credit Bureaus
There are 3 credit bureaus throughout the United States; Experian, Trans Union and Equifax. Each one is strongest in a particular geographic area. All will contain your major accounts, but each will have slightly different information on the same person.
When clearing up negative credit issues, you will need to make sure you check all three bureaus credit information.
